Water-Cooled Chillers

Water-Cooled Chillers: –

Water-cooled chillers are highly efficient closed-loop cooling systems that use water as a heat exchanger medium. These chillers are ideal for large-scale industrial applications where water is readily available.
Working Mechanism
The evaporator absorbs heat from the industrial process.
The heat is transferred to cooling water via heat exchangers.
A cooling tower removes the heat from the water before it is recirculated.
The refrigerant re-enters the cycle for continuous cooling.

Uses: –

Uses in Various Industries
Power Plants: Cooling turbines and generators.
Beverage Industry: Chilling soft drinks, beer, and dairy products.
Chemical & Pharmaceutical Processing: Maintaining precise temperatures in chemical reactions.
Metal Processing: Cooling metal-cutting and welding operations.
